Meet The Team

Jon Peplow - Managing Director/Dyno Tuner

Jon has had a passion and knowledge of all things performance for a long long time now. In the early 2000's he decided to turn his passion into a business. Jon would have one way or another been involved in every single project or any general vehicle that has come through the doors at spec!

In his spare time Jon loves to spend time with his Wife Tess and Two Kids on their family farm. Along with his family life he slots into the motorsport life too partaking in almost every roll race event you can think of. He has also had his hand at some drift schools recently... watch this space!

 

Ryan (Burgs) Baird - Workshop Manager

Ryan has been a member of the Spec team since 2005. You could say he's become a part of the woodwork here. Ryan has been involved in almost every project that has come through the doors at SPEC specialising in motorsport electrical, engine building & general mechanical.

Ryan's hobbies mainly consist of anything to do with the gym of supporting his two kids in their many sports and activities they partake in. He is a big foody always looking for new ways to cook and even gets the Traeger out from time to time!

 

Daniel Burgess - Fabrication/Electrical 

Dan has been with Spec for 5 years specialising in motorsport electrical & fabrication, previously building championship winning speedway cars. You could say he lives and breathes motorsport! 

Daniels hobbies include Sim racing & all things motorsport. He is constantly looking for ways to expand his knowledge and develop skills in motorsport electrical/fabrication while racing in various forms of motorsport.

Trent Moran - Service & Sales Manager

 

Trent is he latest addition to the Spec Performance team, with a long background in the automotive industry recently with 5 years experience as a Turbo Technician he has developed a taste for all things boosted! 

He will be the first face you will likely see as you walk in the door! Trent will be Ryan’s right hand man in overseeing operations of the workshop, arranging stock, parts, servicing, follow ups and more! 

Trent’s hobbies include being an avid Gym goer, Gamer, spending time driving but mostly fixing his 200SX S14.
